Welcome to Valley Hockey

Valley Hockey Club is one of the oldest in the country. We have produced more players who have represented Australia than any other club in the Country. At Valley Hockey, you can play hockey from the time you're old enough to hit a ball with a hockey stick and run around a field having fun, until your so old you can no longer hit a ball with a hockey stick and run around a field having fun.
We have Junior divisions, Seniors which includes the Premier Leagues, Veterans for those over 40, and Classic League for players of all ages who like to play on grass only fields. All other adult competitions are played on synthetic Turf Pitches.

Valley Provides a Family Friendly Sporting Community

Valley Hockey provides a family friendly environment where particularly in the early Junior years it is very popular with young families. Up until the age of 13, there are mixed teams where brothers and sisters can play together and more often than not, at the same venue. This is found to be very convenient for many families. It is not uncommon to find hockey families where not only the children play hockey, but the parents and even grandparents also play. As a consequence, the hockey community and support networks are very strong and always welcoming to newcomers.

New Players are Always Welcome

New players are always welcome at Valley Hockey. No matter what age, young or old, there is always a competition to suit. Like all sports, you can play for the sheer enjoyment, companionship and camaraderie, or work hard to develop skills and take the sport as far as you can.
